There are more than 1,000 food enterprises in Qingdao, plus other counties and cities in Jiaodong Peninsula the number reaches 20,000. Nearly 4,000 of them are foreign invested and about 3,000 are wines and drinks enterprises. 76 world's top 500 enterprises have invested 132 projects in Qingdao.
Qingdao, the food production and export center of Shandong Province, ranked second in 36 provincial capitals and sub-provincial cities in the country. It has trade relations with 192 countries and regions, and exports more than 10 billion to South Korea, Japan, the United States EU, ASEAN and Hong Kong.
